Is it worth the price?
At £75 you are mostly paying for MinaLima's art and production: the gold-accented Hogwarts map and the card illustrations are the parts reviewers praise most. As a game, early reviews call it a good but not great deck-builder. People like the late-game card combos but find the opening slow, and there is one winner, not a team. If you want a cooperative Harry Potter deck-builder, Hogwarts Battle costs less and has a long track record. If you collect MinaLima or want a 1-vs-many game for 2–5 players, this one is the more striking box.
Watch out for fake listings. Until retail opens, the only official sources are Kickstarter, minalima.com and House of MinaLima stores. Marketplace listings promising immediate shipping are likely resales of backer copies at a markup, or scams.
